Robin Cottage
A charming self-contained one-bedroom holiday cottage located 8 miles/12km west of the city of Carlisle. With the Solway coast right on your doorstep, this beautiful cottage is also on the Hadrian’s wall walking route and the 72-cycling route. With beautiful gardens it is the perfect place to relax after a day exploring all Carlisle has to offer. Minimum of 5 nights

Croft House B&B

A spacious separate part in our Grade II listed main house, guests have a downstairs shower room with sandstone stairs leading up to the bedroom, as a double or twin and a living room. Cooked breakfasts with local produce are served at an arranged time in the breakfast room. Minimum of 2 nights

Both: Bookings are securely taken through Airbnb or Holiday Lettings. Boustead Hill itself is a quiet hamlet overlooking the marsh across to Scotland.

# birdwatching # Solway coast reserves # area of outstanding natural beauty etc. Day outings further afield can take you to the Lake District in the South or bigger cities Newcastle along the Roman wall to the East or Glasgow and Edinburgh in Scotland to the North.
