Wow! January has been pretty special with brighter longer days, crisp winter weather (including snow) and lots of wonderful walks, food and hospitality from the amazing local pubs, bars, cafes and restaurants all in walking distance of the cottage.

Bookings have been very busy this past week in particular with lots of weekends being booked up in the year now.

Absolutely stunning bank holiday weekend in the village.
So great to have the extra hours day light and there’s been lots going on with the return of the annual Sheafstock festival serving up brilliant music and libation.

So many wonderful walks for all abilities whilst you’re with us. We love the Ribblehead circular and Austwick Feisor loop for a 2 hour stomp to clear away the cobwebs.

Walking is one of the easiest ways to improve physical and mental health, and there’s nowhere better to enjoy a walk than in the Dales 🚶 This is a favourite circular walk from Hawes you can do on our free walking app 👇
