Lisa & Adrian recently arrived for their 3rd stay with us on their e-bikes having cycled from Chorley. They had some great cycling adventures in the area seeing some beautiful countryside including Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty .
They covered over 160 mile in total! 🚲🚲😀!

Just a short drive to Thornton in Lonsdale for a lovely walk this week. A bit cloudy but the views were still great, especially of Ingleborough!
We had a nice refreshing beverage at the end of our walk and will return again to try the food as it looked delicious.

It was a bit of a wet start today but thought I’d take a walk along the river at Arkholme to the woodland area to see the bluebells.
Its just a lovely carpet of wild garlic and bluebells at the moment, the smell is wonderful.
We are so lucky to have this just a short walk from the the apartment.

Great views today from the top of Barbon Bullpot.
There was an icy wind chill so needed to wrap up warm but finished off with a bacon butty and coffee at the Churchmouse cafe to warm up afterwards.
Only a short 15/20 minute drive from the apartment too.

Thought it would be nice to stay local and enjoy a walk in the beautiful sunshine today. So nice to see the signs of Spring along the way.
