I'd like to assure you that today's hard labour is more remarkable than it may look. 😂😂

'What on earth is it?' you may ask. Well, it's about 420 wheelbarrows of soil lovingly removed from elsewhere on the farm and strategically placed in The Orchard so the walk down to the field is more gradual than it was before. I think you'll find it now practically kisses your feet with every step. 🦶🏼😘🦶🏼😘

Oh, and then I threw a bit of grass seed on it for good measure! 😂

So very glad to have had a proper spring day today!

Lovely views while out with the dogs and some planting and pottering outside this afternoon in the sunshine.

The pizza oven in the rose garden has been uncovered following its winter hibernation and with a bit of drying out and a fresh top coat on it, it'll be ready for some cooking! 😋

It's lovely to still have some daylight at almost 6pm, now. This was taken yesterday. Won't be long now until the clocks...
