Got a question? This might help ⬇️
❓ What are the opening times?
⭐️ Fri 6pm-11.45pm, Sat 11am-11.45pm, Sun 11am-6.30pm
❓ Can I buy tickets at the gate?
⭐️ Yes, unless the site reaches capacity.
❓ What time is the fireworks?
⭐️ The opening ceremony starts a bit later this year, at 8.40pm, with fireworks just before 9pm - there's lots to see and do before then - gates open at 6pm!
❓ What are the busiest times?
⭐️ Fri evening and Saturday early afternoon are traditionally very busy. If you prefer a more relaxed visit, think about visiting on Sunday.
❓ Are there are any spare tickets for the sold out events?
⭐️ Returned chef demo tickets will be available to buy at the Kitchen Marquee on the day - there are normally a few returns.
❓ Is the site accessible for wheelchair users and buggies?
⭐️ Yes. And there’s a dedicated disabled car park for Blue Badge holders close to the festival site.
❓ What if it rains?
⭐️ The weather forecast is looking good, and there’s lots of room in the marquees if rain makes an appearance.
❓ Can I reserve seats for the Shuck Off or Live Music?
⭐️ Sorry, all seating in the Entertainment Marquee is first come first served.
❓ How do I enter the Oyster Eating Competition?
⭐️ There's a sign-up stall in the Entertainment Marquee, the early bird catches the oysters, and the Guinness…

❓ I'm nervous about trying an oyster, is there other food and drink available?
⭐️ Yes, there’s so much amazing local food and drink to try that you'll be absolutely spoilt for choice. And if you want to pop your oyster eating cherry, tell the Loch Ryan Oyster team it's your first time and they'll give you tips & advice 🦪

On 29th August, John Service and Gerry Lafferty will begin the mammoth journey from Land's End to John O'Groats, cycling the 984 miles of the country-length route. The money raised as part of this incredible effort will be shared with RSABI and My Name'5 Doddie Foundation. The cycling duo got together 10 years ago to raise money for the Beatson Cancer Centre in Glasgow and have since raised £12,500 for various charities. You can support the team by texting GJGRANDTOUR to 70450 to donate £10 or by donating via their fundraising page: https://ow.ly/EUcV50T1PCa Wishing you the best of luck from all at RSABI!
