Due to it being half term next week we will be open 7 days for both lunch and dinner. A warm welcome is waiting for families with children and dogs also 👩‍👦👨‍👦🐾

With Carlos being closed for a holiday until the 27th February we have been busier than usual on Fri/Sat. Last Saturday we unfortunately turned away 50+ diners who all tried to book in at short notice on Saturday evening when we were already fully booked.

Friday 14th availability
We have tables between 4.30 - 5.30 available (for 2.5 hours only). Our Big Table of 8 is available all evening.

Saturday 15th availability
Limited tables but there's the odd table here and there throughout the night. Please enquire

Plenty availability on Sunday and you can Bring your own Booze

Please book early to avoid disappointment.

Our over 55's fishy specials will be available every lunch - Mon - Sun. Cider battered Cod or Scampi (10 pieces), chips, tartare, lemon and mushy or garden peas £9.50.

Check out our bargain Valentines Special. It really doesn't need to cost more to treat your loved one to a meal at Valentines. ♥️ Takeaways available!

Its already been a very eventful New Year 🥳 We are very excited to let you all know we will be opening "Rosava's" Cafe/Restaurant (previously The Scottish Pantry) in Castle Douglas on March 4th this year. Our Whole Team have been busy organizing and preparing, are very enthusiastic and eager to welcome you all at Rosava's!!

While we had hoped to operate both premises, unfortunately it has proved to be just not feasible, therefore, we reluctantly will be no longer operating at The Old Schoolhouse after Fri 28th Feb. We will be very sad to say goodbye to The Old Schoolhouse and all the wonderful times we have had! All gift-vouchers purchased for The Old Schoolhouse will be honored at Rosava's.

It’s back !!!

As we head into Autumn & Winter we are delighted to announce that our delicious carvery is back as a regular feature every Sunday from 6th October .

As usual the carvery will feature choice of 2 roasts cooked to perfection to reflect the season , alongside all the usual accoutrements
All cooked in house from scratch to ensure freshness and taste .

It’s a perfect way to celebrate Sunday with your family and friends . Kids welcome and can order from a kids menu .
