So great to see the sunshine has reappeared!
A perfect day for an ice cream or sausage sizzle at Rockcliffe beach..less than a 15 min drive from Midkelton..beautiful at any time of the year…and I’m yet to visit without the ice cream van being there which is an added bonus!
Agreed..Harris and Co is a big hit with our guests! Make sure you pop in for some tasty bites and wine when you are staying with us!

Big shout out to local jewellery extraordinaire Jill Parker Jewellery. I had a lovely evening on Friday night with my sister and nieces at a private necklace making class. Less that 10 minutes from Midkelton Holiday Rental this would make a great class for any visitors and Jill will really look after you. Her studio is very cool and calm and we all left delighted with our handiwork! Thanks Jill! I look forward to a return visit to make some matching earrings.

The court yard at the Demijohn, the liquid deli is just absolutely beautiful with its cobbles and traditional steading setting- so this will be a beautiful addition the the Spring Fling and the May bank holiday..I bet the nibbles are delicious!

Delighted with our new pizza, bbq, food preparation and covered seating area at Midkelton. Thanks to JSF Ltd. for more outstanding work. Attention to detail is excellent and always such a tidy job! Looks great with all our previous gates and fencing from them! I look forward to an aperol spritz served up whilst I watch others do the cooking! With the bbq hut as a separate outside covered dining option, guests might need to extend their stay to make use of it all!!

Last week the kids had a great day doing a children’s throwing and pottery day at Clay Works Studio ..hearing the giggles as the wheel took off was great! Iona was a lovely teacher and very patient! They do private lessons and classes..we would totally recommend.
