Attending our Switch on event is Reid’s amusements 😃🎠🎡 and also, there will be a mini decorated tractor display, doing a lap of Queen Street and King Street, just after the switch on 🚜🎉🚜✨..fun for all the family!!

Something for our guests this weekend - weather might not be great so this is ideal

There’s some amazing weather just now, but today’s has left Robin feeling on top of the world when he gathered the ewes in for tupping from Bengairn this morning. The Solway is covered in a rolling mist and he was above it - very pleased he had his phone with him 📷.

I had a great day learning about setting up and running a farm shop at Carfrae. It’s very tempting to add this on to my To Do List, but much wiser to continue to support Auchencairn Community Store.

The geese are patrolling Bengairn Loch regularly now. I hope they decide it’s a good place to visit. Not sure the swans will be happy to see them though.

For those of you who have followed our little cygnets on the loch, this was an exciting moment capturing,for the first time, all 5 cygnets in flight.

They’ve grown so much!
