Anthony House offers spacious accommodation set within carefully maintained garden grounds, the views over the Urr Estuary to the surrounding hills make it a perfect location for a family holiday. The large garden area to the front of the property gives ample outdoor space, complimented with a charming summerhouse. Located in the sailing village of Kippford which has two pubs, both serving food, within walking distance.

Kippford is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Dumfries and Galloway and there are always things to see and do around the village. It is just a short stroll through the village to a choice of two pubs, both of which serve food and also a lovely tea room The Ark, where you can enjoy delicious lunches and scrumptious cakes whilst taking in the views across the estuary. Within a short drive are a number of sandy beaches and an excellent selection of golf courses including the championship links course at Southerness (fees payable).

Bellrigg is a spacious, traditional detached farmhouse in a tranquil, rural location providing excellent holiday accommodation for families and groups of up to 8. The house has open views over neighbouring farmland to the high hills of Galloway, and the garden is visited by a variety of wild and bird life.
With extensive gardens, its own Tennis Court, a Billiard Table and a Baby Grand Piano, there is plenty to keep everyone entertained without having to leave the house. However, although in a rural location, Bellrigg is less than a 10-minute drive from Castle Douglas. The small, rural market town is known as the ‘Food Town’ offering a wide range of amenities. These include a range of interesting independent shops, art galleries, a community run theatre which doubles as a cinema, cafes, restaurants & pubs, a swimming pool, a 9-hole golf course, and a small independent brewery.

Centrally located in the superb outstanding scenic area of South West Scotland including the Solway Coast Bellrigg is perfectly situated for enjoying the outstanding sandy beaches and cliff top walks within a 20-minute drive. Water sports are available on the Solway and also on nearby Loch Ken at the Galloway Activity Centre. Fishing is available locally, whether it be Game, Course or Sea fishing. The National Trust for Scotland's Threave Estate is on the doorstep where the House and surrounding gardens offer an oasis of tranquillity. The Estate offers the chance to see Ospreys at work in the summer months and Threave Castle which is located on an island surrounded by the river Dee. For the naturalist there are a number of Core Paths around Threave Estate which offer fascinating views of the surrounding countryside and wetlands, with the Red Kite Trail also close to the town and slightly further afield are the nationally important wildfowl reserves of Mersehead and Caerlaverock.

Curlew Corner is a superbly finished holiday cottage forming part of a residential conversion of a traditional highland barn. The cottage in on the owner’s deer farm and ensures peace and quiet but still with easy access to all that Perthshire has to offer. This is a perfect spot for a base from which to explore all of Highland Scotland. The location is close to the popular towns of Dunkeld and Crieff, both of which have an excellent selection of restaurants, Art Cafes, independent shops and Art galleries and of course, the opportunity to try whisky tasting fresh from the cask!

The careful conversion of the original building makes the most of all its features. The “upside down” layout ensures that you have the best of the views from the upstairs sitting room across the adjoining fields to the distant mountains. The accommodation has been finished to a luxury standard and includes a spacious King size bedroom with French doors to a private patio. There is a spacious “Jack and Jill” bathroom which is perfect for a relaxing soak after a busy day out exploring.
