We’re so grateful for our wonderful guests, and this lovely review has truly made our day:

"This place never fails to delight! Blue Monkey, Kingsand and the whole of surrounding Rame Peninsula is a truly special place. We have always loved coming here over the years and our recent trip over early January has exceeded expectations. Bracing walks under dramatic and stormy skies coupled with some special family time inside the ultra cosy Blue Monkey have featured strongly on this trip!
Blue Monkey in winter has offered a place of sanctuary from the cold and harsh weather outside. The fire has been roaring as we have enjoyed a glass of wine whilst playing games and catching up with friends. We have had some fabulous walks in the area including a memorable trek to Mount Edgecumbe followed by lunch in 'The Stables' there. Other highlights include seeing some very dramatic waves over Whitsand Bay following a storm passing through.
If you want a mix of the outdoors, family and friends time whilst being set in one of the most cosy and luxurious of homes that we know, this place is for you. We will be back!

Rooms
Super comfy beds, excellent shower and bath facilities and the property is very warm and cosy. Perfect for a winter stay.
Nearby activities
Walks to Mount Edgecumbe is stunning and it feels like you are in England's answer to a rainforest. The walk to Rame Head from Cassandra is also one of my favourite walks in the whole of the UK!
Safety
Careful when the tide is in and the wind is blowing! The waves are very powerful in the winter and the water is very cold!
Walkability
5 minute walk from the car park to the main house - but you can park temporarily outside Blue Money to drop your luggage off.
Food and drinks
So many good food places nearby. We had a great time in the CrossKeys Pub and have also enjoyed the Halfway House and The Bay restaurant.
