⚠️SEPTEMBER SCHOOL BUS TRAVEL- ESSEX COUNTY COUNCIL TRANSPORT- ORMISTON RIVERS⚠️

From September, we will be changing our 100 bus service to electronic bus passes via the ShuttleID system. This will not affect any other Ormiston Rivers service.

We are trialling this on our 100 service, if successful, we will expand to the rest of the fleet.

For those travelling on 100, we will be issuing these tickets using the contact email addresses parents/guardians provided upon the application for transport.

Please get in touch with us if your email address is no longer accurate and requires updating.

If you have not received a link to download a pass by Monday 2nd of September, please get in touch with us. Please check all junk folders prior to contacting us, as the link can often go there.

If you have any questions about this new service, or experience any issues during the download process, please reach out to us via Message or Telephone call.

For all other routes (102-103-104-105-106) the process is as before and no changes have been made. Physical passes will be created and available from the driver on the first day of term.

From September, we have transitioned to electronic bus passes via the ShuttleID system. We are currently in the process of issuing passes to students who have been approved for funded transport.

We will be issuing these tickets using the contact email addresses parents/guardians provided upon the application for transport.

We will continue to accept cash on board 100 for daily and weekly tickets, but all termly passes need to be purchased online.

⚠️SEPTEMBER SCHOOL BUS TRAVEL- PAID TRANSPORT- WILLIAM DE FERRERS⚠️

From September, we have transitioned to electronic bus passes which are now purchasable through the links below.

Simply purchase a pass, download it to the mobile of the student (or print if required) and scan the QR when boarding the bus.

All buses offering the new service are equipped with a fixed tablet to scan the tickets.

We will continue to accept cash on board for daily and weekly tickets, but all termly passes need to be purchased online.

We have a strict no travel policy without a ticket. Our drivers reserve the right to refuse travel if a ticket is not presented upon boarding.

This system also allows parents/guardians to get boarding notifications and live tracking of our vehicles.

For now, we are trialling this service on 5 bus routes and if successful will expand onto our full fleet.

102 Orminston Rivers school bus will be running as normal as of tomorrow morning now the roads are all completely open again.

FC05 William de Ferrers School bus will be running as normal as of tomorrow morning now the roads are completely open again.

❌️ ATTENTION ❌️

ORMINSTON 102 - Steeple and St Lawrence
Due to the impossible situation of the road closures we are asking that all Steeple pick ups (Canney road and the Star) to please walk via the footpath to Stansgate Road for 8.05am.

Stansgate road is the other side of the roadworks. I have checked with the staff working on site and they are happy there is a safe fenced footpath for the children to walk around.

The 102 bus will begin and end it's journey here for Monday and Tuesday. We will re check Tuesday afternoon and update further.

So to clarify the route for 102 Orminston Steeple and St Lawrence will be as follows.

8.05am Stansgate Road
8.06am cottages
8.07am Blackhouse farm
8.15am Anchorage
8.18am Wick farm road

Then up to Bradwell, through Tillingham, Asheldam, up through Southminster to the school.

This will potentially make the school bus late to school by what we are hoping will only be a few minutes but again depending on the traffic flow using the diversion.

❌️ ATTENTION ❌️

William De Ferrers - FC05
Tillingham, Bradwell, St Lawrence, Steeple

Due to the impossible situation with the roadworks in Steeple, the children that get on at The Star and Canney Road end of the village will be picked up by the FC01 bus that covers Mayland, Stow Marie's.
Can they please ensure they get on the FC01 bus on the return journey.
This will be for Monday and Tuesday and then rechecked re road closures and I will update again Tuesday afternoon.

However to do this there is a slight change in times.

❌️ Please can all children that usually get on at The Star and Canney Road please be there at 7.50am. ❌️

This is too ensure as minimal disruption to the other school route as possible.

Tillingham, Bradwell and St Lawrence pick ups will all be the same times, however the route to the school after the St lawrence pick ups will be back to Bradwell, through Tilligham and Asheldam and into Latchingdon to get back onto the normal route.
Latchingdon pick ups will be late due to this diversion but we are asking all children in Latchingdon to be there at normal times and to be patient where possible.
Please be aware this will add on journey time and the bus will highly likely to be late arriving at William de Ferrers school.
