Many people have been asking where the name Red Kite Adventures came from.

It’s inspired by the striking red kite, the bird of prey often seen soaring effortlessly above my home. Watching it glide with ease, with its distinctive forked tail, is truly inspiring.

Not long ago, red kites were on the brink of extinction in the UK, but thanks to dedicated conservation efforts, they’ve made an incredible comeback. Seeing them fly freely again is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when people take action to protect nature.

At Red Kite Adventures, all our trips focus on environmental sustainability, conservation, and responsible travel. Our vision is to inspire a generation of change-makers, people passionate about taking action on local and global environmental issues.
