Super-Fast Internet has arrived at Homelands! As a semi-rural business we have been hoping for years that Fibre Optic cables would reach our Lane, but no.... the nearest access point is 400 Yards away, but that could as well have been 4,000 Miles. So the StarLink disk has been fitted, the connections made, and the settings adjusted. Expect a speed of around 100-120 Mbps - more than enough to Game, Play, Work and Update your Social Media on multiple devices without delays, buffering or outages.

Yesterday we visited a place in Gloucestershire we had never heard of before. It is approx. 45 min by car from Homelands, and well worth a visit! It's called "Purtons Ship Graveyard". Nice to do and see something that is not 'on the tourist trail'. Some 80 ships have been beached here to strengthen the riverbank and prevent flooding during storms and Spring tides.

25-27 May 2024: Cotswolds Festival of Steam: Currently the Apartment is still available for the 26th and 27th. The GWR line runs within a few hundred yards from Homelands, so it is easy to find a local spot nearby where you can make the most fantastic pictures.
