Today is apparently Fox Day so we are taking that to mean National Foxes Reach day! Its a lovely warm day perfect for sitting in the sunshine or dipping in the hot tub or a stroll on the riverbank or a pub lunch. take your pick. (But leave the local chickens alone!)🐥🐔🐔🦆🌞

Today is national Fox day 🦊

Foxes are inquisitive creatures and are one of nature’s scavengers.

They will eat anything they can find, from berries and fruit to insects and small mammals, and they will search everywhere to find their next meal.

The first morning with ethereal "Dragons Breath" floating down the Wye Valley. A dry afternoon ( ish) so a good chance to visit the Abbey today for Vespers starting at 3pm.Bring a chair and a rain coat and prepare to absorb the wonderful atmosphere

Lots going on this month at Catbrook Memorial Hall which is a 2 minute stroll from Foxes Reach and about 5 mins by car from Tintern Abbey Cottage. Visitors are always welcome so if something catches your eye just message the Hall or ask us about it and plan to enjoy!

Wonderful news that England have cleared the landslip that was blocking the Wye Valley Greenway and so you can now cycle from Tintern to Chepstow as well as walking! Its about 5 miles each way and pretty level. The area where the landslip was is muddy but hopefuly this will dry quickly in this warm weather.
Hurrah!
The route starts /ends at the Wye Bridge in Tintern.

With us on a Wednesday or a Sunday afternoon for the next few weeks? Stroll along to the Wye Valley Sculpture Garden, Tintern where they have plants, sculptures, tea and cakes and on Sundays beautiful guitar music as well. Gorgeous.
