A Special Milestone for Rework Accommodation!

This is the first property to go live since Jack and Matt joined Rework Accommodation, so it’s a particularly special one for us.

The story behind this property is just as exciting. The owner is jetting off to warmer climates this Thursday! While he doesn’t need the property himself, he had no plans to sell it either. Instead, he’s entrusted us to manage it—and we’re thrilled to take it on.

Over the past few weeks, he’s been putting the finishing touches on the property, and honestly, it looks incredible. We’re so excited to see the first booking come through and can’t wait to welcome guests.

You see, unlike MOST of the management companies out there we like to be involved in the setup of your units. This is because we are the ones on the ground and know what works when it comes to attracting bookings!

🌟 Meet the Dynamic Duo: Matt & Jon! 🌟

Matt – From ship’s captain to property expert, my journey has been anything but ordinary! 🌊⚓ After 12 years at sea, I made a bold career shift into the world of property about 5 years ago. Since then, I've dived into Rent-to-Rent (R2R), managing Short-Term Lets & HMOs, taking on Buy-to-Let (BTL) projects, and even property development here in Chester. 🏘️🔑

Over the past year, I've also been supporting entrepreneurs eager to step into property through our mentorship program. Joining Cary at Rework was a no-brainer and has kicked things into high gear! 🚀 This opportunity aligns perfectly with my vision of not just investing in properties, but in businesses too. Plus, I’m a true family man – my wife and daughter are my biggest supporters and drive me every step of the way. 👨‍👩‍👧❤️

Jon – A hospitality veteran, Jon has years of experience managing operations for some of the UK’s top food chains 🍔, followed by a shift to the ever-evolving world of HMRC claims. The one you probably already know and love – the driving force who built this business from the ground up! 💪

With a rock-solid background in hospitality since 1995 owning and managing hotels and restaurants, Cary is all about making sure guests feel right at home and that property owners are fully supported. 🏠💼

✨ A Bit of Her Story:
15 years ago Cary was a freelance business consultant to independently owned hotels and restaurants, helping improve bookings and guest experience through better systems and processes and staff training. One day, about 7 years ago she was asked to manage a small property on a short-term let basis. And well... the rest is history! 📖💫

Since then, Cary has taken things from strength to strength, creating a business grounded in top-notch service for property owners and guests alike. 🤝✨

🍺 Fun Facts About Cary:
She’s more of a real ale fan than a G&T enthusiast, and (not too often, but occasionally) she enjoys chatting with the cows at the bottom of her garden – after all, they’re the best listeners! 🐄💬

It’s incredible how much info a property manager can hold in their head – and we are no different! But with the new directors onboard we need us all on the same page.

You see with Matt & Jack having already memorised details for numerous of their own properties, and Cary practically has the blueprints embedded in her brain to all of Reworks and more 🧠, well....it's now time to standardise the way we document them and get it all down on paper 📋✨.

As we expand and grow our team, we need to ensure we’re all fully in tune with every inch of each property. This isn’t just about scaling; it’s about maintaining the quality of service our guests expect and the attention to detail our landlords love 💼🏡.

Because lets be honest that service is ultimately the backbone of the business. Our motto is if we do such a good job for everyone owner and guest, the businesses reputation will proceed us.

So today, we took a time out to go through a few of our units with a fine-tooth comb, documenting every little detail 🔎🖊️. This way, every property will have the same clear, consistent records, allowing our new team members to jump right in without missing a beat! 🚀
