- some fantastic feedback in respect of one of Chris Wall's ISW reports: "You did some work on this case last year and this.... I have since spoken to his mother who wanted her thanks for your work on this case to be passed on to you. Similarly, the case manager at the Official Solicitor’s office has asked me to pass on the OS’s thanks for your input..... She remarked that “In all my years here it is the single best piece of expert social work I have seen”. I don’t have as many years on the clock as .. but certainly wouldn’t disagree with her analysis. Many thanks for your help".

One of our team, Anthony, has setup a JustGiving page with a bit of a fun element to it which can involve all ages. All the info is in the description via the JustGiving page. We have already been sent lots of brilliant/funny clips and people nominating others to get involved.

I appreciate not everyone can or wants to donate and there's also a lot of fundraising going on for Zoe's Place that people may have already contributed to already - so if this is the case, that's absolutely fine, we just ask if people can share the fundraising link amongst friends and colleagues.

Zoe's Place Baby Hospice is fundraising to secure a new home for our hospice in Liverpool. This may include buying, building, renovating, and/or equipping a suitable building from which to deliver our services, in the future. If we are unable to complete the project or if there are surplus funds any unspent money will be used to cover the day to day cost of providing care and support to babies and children being cared for by Zoe's Place Trust.

We have recently been working with a local authority to help with their OT waiting lists and have received a lovely card from a parent of young person that one of our team Lauren, has been involved with....... "we would just like to thank you for all your help and support making mine and X’s life more comfortable and safer with the new equipment. Its been so much better for us both knowing X can sleep, play and bathe so much safer. I feel so much more relaxed at night, I can’t thank you enough”

This was received from a care agency manager in respect of a 2 day Manual Handling Passport A-F course....."Just wanted to thank you for the exemplary training you gave (anon). She is really enthusiastic and thoroughly enjoyed your course. She is now super confident with all manual handling. I supervised her last night and she was cool, calm and confident. Its so lovely when trainees take the time to get in touch to say how much they enjoyed our training - well done Sandy!!! - "Just some feedback from yesterday’s training with Sandy. All of us really enjoyed the sessions and it was great as Sandy had so much local knowledge and was able to assist us with things like obtaining LOLER checks quickly etc. We all gained so much valuable knowledge and I do feel the staff will make changes in their personal lives too which will assist them to self care more".
