Looking for Hosts for French students arriving Chesterfield Tuesday 30th May for 4 nights. (12 - 15yrs old) There will be two meeting points, the Town Hall and the Layby opposite the Hunloke Arms on Derby Road, you choose the one most suitable for you. They will need dropping off each morning by 7:40am Hunloke/8am Town Hall and picking up each evening around 7pm Town Hall /7:20pm Hunloke. Students will require a light breakfast, packed lunch and evening meal. Host fee is £21.50 per student per night and you can have up to four. Hosts wanted for short stay French students visiting the area March 21st for 3 nights. Drop off each morning around 7:40am opposite the Hunloke Arms OR by 8:00am at the Town Hall depending on which location is nearest to you. Pick up around 6/6:30pm at the Town Hall or 6:30/7pm each evening. Host Fee £21.50 per student per night and can have 2/3 or 4 from each group. Hopefully the Chesterfield Centre will be bringing a group of Spanish students to Chesterfield in the Summer, some for 2 weeks, some for 3 weeks, and some for 4 weeks. They will have their own bus pass as usual so they'll be quite independent during their stay, making their own way to their English lessons each day. Finally, after 4 years, the French school kids and their teachers are returning to Chesterfield this Spring, one group March 21st for 3 nights, one April 3rd for 4 nights and one May 30th for 4 nights. Spanish Trainee Teachers love coming to Chesterfield to do their training in local primary and infant schools, and the schools and the kids love the experience of having a Spanish teacher helping in their class for a few weeks.
