Please allow plenty of time this weekend if you’re going to Heathrow

The M25 will be closed this weekend in both directions from this evening, between junctions 10 and 11. The closure is taking place between 21:00 on Friday 15th and 06:00 on Monday 18th.

Diversions will be in place, but expect long delays if arriving to London Gatwick by car, taxi or coach during this period. If possible, we recommend travelling via train.

First planned M25 daytime closure to cause long delays

National Highways urged motorists to ‘only travel if necessary’ when it shuts the M25 in both directions between junctions 10 and 11 in Surrey.
