Job Description:
Chigwell Tours & Visits are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious candidate to join their team in Essex. This is an opportunity to work for a fantastic brand in the industry and to be in a business critical role tasked with growing our brand image amongst existing clients as well as expanding our current customer base. Due to our clientele, this is a highly creative and strategical message you will need to take to market rather than the more frequent campaigns.
At Chigwell Tours and Visits your main objective will be to develop a sales strategy for all of our 2017 tours both electronically and otherwise in order to increase our sales and audience reach. Within your job role you will manage all of our social media platforms and help to provide advice on pricing, package deals discounts and much more. Additionally, you will contribute to our monthly newsletter and distribute them via Mailchimp, as well as carry out internet research to keep on top of any trends within the tourism industry, investigate affiliate marketing channels, sites and social media to generate revenue and explore any potential partnership options with e.g wholesale tour operators/ suppliers to sell our tours and develop appropriate contact and links with concierges in local and central London hotels to introduce our customised tour packages to them for commission based sales. Targets will be high end and executive. Some planning towards our autumn and Christmas tours.
Experience we are looking for: Proven business development and sales experience
• CRM experience
• Sales experience
• Strong direct marketing experience from a creative, strategic and execution perspective
• Retention focussed
• Good experience with social media advertisement tools
• Basic experience with Wordpress
• Basic experience with Mailchimp
• Academic qualifications in business development/ tourism/sales
