Bit of a personal one & I’m sorry if some of our followers don’t appreciate it being here but this is important…….

Book your smear…….

I was guilty of it every time…. It’s not painful or daunting, it’s inconvenient…..
I have to pick up the phone, wait on hold, juggle dates, take a whole 20 minutes out of a day to go to the surgery, see the nurse and put my boots back on. Before you know it 6 months have gone by & “book smear” is still on the to do list.

But that one question as I was going into my biopsy was “Do you have any children?”
………
Yes I do & he is my absolute world so that’s why I will never think that booking a routine check up as an inconvenience again. I want to see every great school report, hear everything there is to know about Fortnite, cheer from the side lines as he wins an F1 race (always encouraged him to think big 😅), I also really want to join the crazy lady legacy of still pottering around The Crazy Kiln at the age of 90!

I’ve never been the biggest cheerleader of the NHS but this time I cannot fault them or the amazing staff at CGH.

So ladies please…….. go tick “book smear” off your to do list 🙏

My Uncle Nigel was given this Santa flying on a swan when he was 10 months old, for his 1st Christmas & this year Santa & swan are 68 and still flying strong........ they spent every year flying in The Crazy Kiln up until a few years ago when they moved to warmer climates and now fly happily at The Crazy kiln HQ in Mallorca.... ❤️❤️
