Just me sharing the message about the benefits of booking direct with your holiday host.😉 There are many reasons that this benefits our guests and us: 👍 Better prices as we don't have to cover the commission fees we get charged 👍 Easier direct communication 👍You get to know us much more before your stay 👍 More money spent locally supporting other local businesses 👍 And for the wider picture it means the OTA'S don't totally dominate the market, having an unhealthy level of control By all means use Airbnb etc to search for places to stay but then please see if you can find a website (with reviews), fb page etc so you can book direct. It makes a huge difference to us as hosts! The words we dread to hear... Mum, Dad...I'm bored! 🙄 So, we have done our best to make sure parents won't hear these words from their children when they stay at Campden Yurts!👍 As a Mum of 2 I totally appreciate that you never really switch off and relax unless the kids are happy, safe and entertained. So I have stuffed the communal covered seating area with toys, games and crafting activities that the whole family can enjoy together, or kids can use themselves.🎨 🎳🧸🎲 From the toy garage, to board games, colouring books and pebble painting, plus books to curl up with and read...we hope it will keep all ages happy. And outside of course they have the hammocks to chill out in. So, for a fun, relaxing 2025 family-friendly holiday in a fabulous Cotswolds location, look no further. Oopsy! Don't worry, I'm only messing with you...😁 Local landmark Broadway Tower is still very much standing and awaiting your visit. It is only a 5 minute drive from our glamping site and has wonderful views from the hilltop setting. Plus you can refuel at the lovely cafe and shop. The walk from Broadway village to the tower is beautiful, and very hilly, but worth doing, as is the walk from Campden to the Tower. What a lovely way to spend an afternoon! 🤗 We took the @steamgwsr steam train from Toddington to Cheltenham and back this afternoon, and it was a real treat. 🚂 The stations are maintained brilliantly and watching the skilled drivers move the engines about was fascinating. So if you are coming to the Cotswolds and like old diesels or steam trains then we can really recommend taking a trip on the Great Western Steam Railway. Apparently Santa is already planning to enjoy the railways November/December so if you have little ones who love trains and Christmas, it would be worth booking now! 🎅🚂 So many volunteers make this possible so thank you to all involved.
