The Primrose bank in the Riverside Park needs the brambles cutting back so the primroses can come through. We thought it had been done by the Council but it appears not. Please come along on Saturday 22nd February at 10am if you are able to help clear the bank. You will need thick gloves and secateurs.

Next Sunday, 16th February, we shall be doing some work on a young hedge on the corner of the Wickwar road and St John's Way. We planted the hedge there a few years ago with help from South Glos Council and it's badly in need of rescuing before it is is completely overgrown.

We would welcome some help so why not come along and work off that Sunday lunch. Meet at the corner at1.30pm. You will need stout shoes, thick gloves and secateurs and loppers.

Despite last week’s snow, signs of Spring are appearing around Chipping Sodbury - the snowdrops in Jubilee Park are just starting to come out.

Signs of Christmas approaching can be seen around town. The Royal Oak is going to look great when Lara from Lara Parnell Weddings has finished this magnificent evergreen display.

A bit of snow does make the town look lovely.

Tomorrow is the first Thursday of the month so we will be meeting in the Community Garden at 10am. There are lots of Autumn jobs to be done!

On Saturday November 9th local band The Parade are playing in Old Sodbury Village Hall to raise funds for Bristol After Stroke. Bar from 6.30, music from 7.30. All proceeds to the charity.

The first Thursday of the month is coming up, so we will meet in the Community Garden at 10 am. There are a few jobs to do.

We had planned to take away the hanging baskets in Chipping Sodbury High Street this morning. The rain was so heavy that we have put it off until tomorrow. We will be removing them from 9 a.m.

Jubilee Park in Chipping Sodbury is a lake again!
If you are walking your dog this evening, you might want to change your route, as the path through the park is under water.
