The video flyover below of Dunaverty Golf Club shows this magnificent wee course in all it's beauty with it's testing holes to it's simply stunning views.

The course has to be played to be believed as to how good it is but don't just take our word for it, here is a recent review on Trip Advisor which sums it up perfectly.

My initial reaction when seeing the course was under 5000 yards and had 6 par 3 holes coupled with the low green fee was “it must be a chip and putt”. How wrong was I!! You MUST go and play this course. From the initial enquiry call, the customer centric experience began. Nothing was too much trouble and we were welcomed like long lost relatives when we arrived at the club. The clubhouse is small but totally functional. If you expect to toast your success with a post game drink, you may be disappointed as they do not have a liquor licence, but that did not detract from the clubhouse experience. To the course. Wow, what a gem, and if we said “wow” 20 times between us, then maybe I have lost the ability to count. Each hole gave us a new golf challenge, but we only teed off after we had stopped staring at the magnificent scenery. The undulations on the greens prevented us from scoring and removed any idea that this was a pitch and putt course. The light wind also made each shot difficult to assess - perish the thought of playing in a strong wind. In my opinion, the slope rating is way below what it should be and I won’t be surprised next year when it is due to be renewed if it isn’t raised significantly. The clubhouse is basic but totally functional - after all, it’s a golf club not a restaurant or a snooker hall. Overall, one of the best golf experiences ever. Do not expect this to be manicured to within an inch of its life but that’s what makes it even better than some of the neighbouring courses, it’s a good old fashioned course. Do not dismiss this course because of its length and low cost. You will thank me if this summary leads you to play Dunaverty.
