A short walk across Great Meadow and you enter the magical wildlife pond at Westyard Farm🧚♀️🧞♂️🧜🏻♀️
When we first arrived here in 2014 this space was an impenetrable mass of tangled willow and scaffold like poles of brambles.
After much careful deliberation and sighting of levels we began excavations with the help of @ewknight1991 and friends.
It has now matured into a well established pond with a diverse array of wildlife. Today it is a peaceful space where holiday guests can go to enjoy some quiet time and soak up the rural vibes.
We do provide life jackets for anyone keen enough to get their Captain’s cap on and row round the pond 🚣♀️or paddle in one of our kayaks 🛶

Our Dexter’s have done us proud this year and produced a fantastic healthy bull-calf each.
The first calf you see is less than 24hrs old. The 2nd is 5 days old. Big difference in their coordination.
Our small herd of Dexter cows live out all year round and although small, are friendly, hardy and also quite talkative 💥📣
