It’s been a bit foggy in Church Stretton over the past few days. Views in the town are limited however…if you go to the top of the hills there is an incredible vista.

Just a 45 minute walk (or 3min drive and 15 min walk) from Oaks ad Larches Lodge if anyone fancies a swim.

🍁 Carding Mill Valley in autumn is an unforgettable experience!

The climb up to the reservoir at the top rewards you with stunning autumn views and a peaceful spot to take it all in.

Some adventurous visitors even use this opportunity to take a wild dip in the reservoir’s chilly waters!

It’s a beautiful way to embrace the season and enjoy everything the Shropshire Hills have to offer. 🌄

I found this lovely article by Birmingham Live about our lovely town Church Stretton and all it has to offer - just a few minutes walk from both Oaks and Larches Lodge! So if you are Birmingham based why not hop on the train and come and visit for a few days.
