Here's the whaleback sandbank 3 hours and 20 minutes before high tide time!

The tide can move very quickly surrounding the Sandbanks with deep, fast flowing water anywhere between 3 and 5 hours before high tide! Known as the disappearing beach, you do not want to get stuck there! ⚠️

Know your beach, always check tide times and pay attention to signage around the resort to avoid being cut off! ⚠️

In a coastal emergency call 999 and ask for the Coastguard ⚠️

The Adventure Village is extremely close to opening.
Get ready for action-packed fun on 3 June when the Adventure Village opens with a range of exciting new activities. The Aerial Adventure, The Jump; Ranger Station or Kart Hire. You will also be able to have fun at the new Crazy Golf and Sports Court.

Another exciting addition to the Adventure Village is the Outdoor Stage, perfect for epic live action performances! 🎶💃

CLEETHORPES FOLK AND CIDER FESTIVAL

This iconic festival returns for the 2022 season, after a 3 year wait, from Saturday 28th to Monday 30th May.

Live music will be provided by a range of unique and talented folk artists from across the country, playing sets from the afternoon well into the evening. There will be more entertainment to enjoy in the form of Morris Dancing provided by Grimsby Morris.

And of course in excess of 50 ciders and real ales from our award winning ‘Signal Box Inn’ and to cope with the expected demand, our external bar.

Just a quick one to keep you all updated.

We have as good as finished everything we can do ourselves.

The ice cream side of it is near enough ready, the pool and poolside and seating area is cleaned, toilets are clean and new lights (new seat to be applied)

Unfortunately upon inspection this morning, we have noticed a piece of equipment has been moved, potentially thrown into the lake. This can’t be delivered until Friday at the earliest.

The company who can test the pools machanical side is hopefully coming Monday/Tuesday to fill the pool up and give the whole system a test run, and upon this being successful we will be opening April 30th.

We again, apologise but this really was unnecessary and only due to the break in over the weekend.

Cctv is now fully operational, vandal paint is applied so we hope to deter any future issues.

I thought I needed to give you an update from the horses mouth as there’s so much on social media about it at the minute.

I’m very confident that in the next 2 weeks we will have plenty of families splashing and enjoying themselves here.

What’s more … we will have the fountain working 😍😍 well worth the wait.

Play passes can be booked 4 weeks prior to arrival and then you can book activities, swimming (14 for your whole stay - more can be booked at swimming pool/reception) etc.

Latest update on the Adventure Village 🤩

All of the foundations are now in place for the Bungee Trampolines, The Jump, Outdoor Stage, the Sports Court, Activity Hub and Children's Play Area! Plus, the walk-through footpaths are progressing well too!

If you just want to let your dogs have a run around or if you want to use the agility course, it's all up to you. When using the beach please remember - the Cleethorpes main beach is closed for all dogs from Good Friday till 30th September (minimum £100 fines apply). Keep to the nice wide long beach in front of the caravan or the Fitties beach (to your right, walk on the sea defence to get there).
We also have 2 new dog beds and blankets in the caravan for you to use 🐾🐕🐩🐾
