What do we do on an autumnal day in half term? We go spend some time on the farm with babies. Jacob got to name the crocodile in the pond - everyone meet Rocky the floating crocodile head. Then we got to meet Daves 1 to 798 and Oswald, the artist formerly known as Dave 799. I can confirm that I did not steal any piglets but they are all kinds of adorable and so funny to watch scampering about. 🐷
Alfie and his friend have started printing up products to sell at next month’s Urban Youth Market.
It’s going to take some time before these are done so I may need take a trip back to turn it off.
Can anyone guess what they have made?
When your mum went on a Social Stories workshop so now you have to narrate photos for her.
Fantastic work by Jacob on this Social Story about attending a Football Tournament.
After Alfie’s Maths lesson we sit and have lunch together.
On Tuesday we saw this pigeon looking a little sad and unloved, Alfie gave it some food and stroked it, now he’s adopted it and it comes to him as we eat.
Definitely one of my kids, sensitive wee soul.
Today I finally beat Jacob at Nine Men Morris. We have a board at home and used to play it a lot.
We had a wonderful time at the Viking Re-enactment Day kindly hosted by the Lindesige Sæweard - Viking & Saxon Reenactment Society
Thank you so much to everyone there who made it such a great experience with tons of stuff to learn and get involved with
Alfie has had an ace time today at Lynsey Powles Pumpkin Workshop. Now he’s at his friend’s annual Halloween sleepover and well, today has been an excellent day out the house for him
Jacob spent today with his dad, so Alfie and I joined Bella Olivia Patton-Taylor and her girls at the amazing Cleethorpes urban art festival he loved watching the breakdancing and joined in some of the crafts. We know the best people and are truly grateful for the opportunities we have to make memories with amazing people
Spent some of today at Centre4 for the Encanto cooking club run by the Community Shop. Alfie and Jacob loved getting stuck in. Was nice to see them working well together
Alfie’s choice . . . 19 holes of Pirate themed crazy golf and, guess who knew every song they played? I even suggested some more they should add to their playlist. I may have danced and sang my way around the course, Alfie and Jacob did too. Can’t take the Captain’s Cove outta this family 🙌
Popped to a different beach today (Mablethorpe) but the result was the same. Jacob, given the tiniest of chances, will go in the sea, fully clothed, in any weather and just absolutely have the best time. Says we are going back in Wednesday so he can go in the sea again and we can play Pirate Crazy Golf 😂
Jacob had a splendid time at GTFC Player of the Year Award last night. Maybe need to get him to up his game at selfie taking but he had fun and as always the players and staff were brilliant with him. Thanks everyone
One child loved it, one child did not. I forgot how to skate so definitely need to go again
