It's been the journey from hell. It might have taken us as long to travel the 200 miles this side of the channel as the 400 on the other side, but it's great to finally be in our other home again

We've had some re-decorating done, biggest change is the fireplace wall. Our bedroom was painted this colour in the first property we bought and I still really like it, hope our guests will do too!

We've been really lucky in that the flat was in a pretty good condition when we took it on, so hasn't really needed too much work. As well as a deep clean of the bathrooms, we've just had the lounge carpet cleaned and it's come up pretty well!
