Big News!🎊

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Clevedon Pier will be opening 7 days a week!🤩

Starting this Monday (31st March), enjoy visiting us every day of the week, Monday-Sunday!

So, what does this mean for you?

🎊 7 days a week access to our Victorian and only Grade I listed pier in the UK, including...

If you are lucky enough to be staying with us between Friday 8th and Sunday 10th August then you really can't miss the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta not more than a 15 minute drive away from Dowlais Farm this Fiesta has something for everyone! 😁

This year will mark the 47th Bristol International Balloon Fiesta.

Did you know the plan to create a balloon festival was first dreamt up by Don Cameron and friends over a drink in The Mall Pub in Clifton in 1978?

Its founding constitution, which is still respected today, was that it must:

🎟️Be free for the people of Bristol
📍Promote the city and its businesses
🎈Celebrate ballooning

Summer Sunsets Pending... 🌞

We think it's safe to say all of us here at the Pier are buzzing for summer sunsets to make a return to Clevedon, who else is?!😍

With the sun giving us a taster of what's to come, we hope it will now stay so we can bask in the sunsets over Clevedon Pier, the perfect setting🌅

We had a huge surprise here at the farm on Saturday when we were alerted to the fact that we had babies in the field!!
We were not expecting the lambs to be born yet but to our surprise Barbara had given birth to not two, not three but FOUR little boys!!
Statistically there is about a one-in-500 chance of a ewe delivering live quadruplets and those odds double when all lambs survive.
One of the little ones has begun to struggle a little bit so has been brought indoors for round the clock care and Barbara is feeding the other 3 who are being topped up with formula to help her cope and for them to thrive.

What a beautiful morning here on the farm!
The sun is shining and the sheep have been relocated in preparation for camping season.
It's exactly 6 weeks until we open the orchard gate for the summer and we can't wait to welcome old friends and new to the farm.

We are so excited to be able to share that the iconic Waverley Paddle Steamer will be making a return to Clevedon Pier in June!🤩
