Well the big day is almost here and I will be logging off for a few days to enjoy the Christmas festivities with friends and family, I will still be around to handle any urgent enquiries for existing bookings travelling in the next few weeks and any new bookings.

๐คฉ So did you guess where I went next?
A few days after I got back from Spain it was time to re-pack and head off for a week in Mexico โฆ. We spent 4 nights at The Fives Beach Hotel & Residences near Puerto Del Carmen, followed by 3 nights at The Fives Oceanfront in Puerto Morelos which are two completely different resorts - the Beach and residence is huge resort with multiple pools, restaurants, bars and room types including swim up rooms which we were lucky enough to have and the other, the Oceanfront which is a small, Boutique beachfront hotelโฆ it has 3 small restaurants, a roof top pool and small beachfront pool and itโs not far from the local town of Puerto Morelos too - both were lovely in there own unique ways ๐ฉท
As always with the Caribbean we had a few days where the weather wasnโt as good but there is plenty to do and see in Mexico so there is never a dull moment!

I hope everyone is good and enjoying their Sunday?!
Things have been a little hectic this last few weeks so I know my page has been a little quiet!
At the beginning of October we had our Vertical Travel Group 2024 Annual Conference in the beautiful Costa Del Sol โฆ we stayed at the Occidental Torremolinos Playa who hosted us for the main of our conference, whilst there we did visit a beautiful local Finca for the evening where we enjoyed a fabulous Spanish buffet and entertainment from the amazing Chrissy!
We got chance to meet up with some of our key tour operator partners including Jet2 Holidays, EasyJet, TUI, Goldmedal to name a few as-well as some of our hotel partners Constantinou Bros, RCD Hotels, Domes - itโs was so lovely to catch up with my travel Family! I will always take time out of my busy work schedule to enjoy some time with a wonderful group of homeworkers that make up the Vertical Travel Group ๐ฅฐ

Morning Everyone, I have been a little quiet this last week as I have been away in Turkey looking at 2 beautiful hotels โฆ I am back to work properly tomorrow but wanted to share my thoughts on the first property I stayed in โฆ
The first hotel was the Laur Hotel in Didim, Bodrum which I really loved โฆ i was blown away by the stunning grounds with Bali beds and cabanas spread out over the resort and down to the beach - it never felt over crowded and busy! #laurhoteldidim ๐๐ผ
This property is a 3 Plus โญ๏ธ with #jet2holidays and whilst itโs brand new for this summer for #jet2holidays and itโs not disappointed at all.
The grounds, pools, beach and facilities here are not what you would expect for just a 3 Plus โญ๏ธ at all and itโs been red hot too which helps. Great for families and couples/friends alike. Food - thereโs something for everyone and even the fussiest of eaters like me - thereโs something to get by on. Drinks are fab too with a whole range included with this all inclusive hotel including cocktails. Slight downside to drinks is no menu but you can tell the bar staff exactly what you want etc and they will make it for you ๐๐ผ
Thereโs water slides for the kids too and a fabulous animation team with various daytime activities. Thereโs even an outdoor open amphitheatre with evening entertainment. Various restaurants, bars and snack bars keeping the whole family wined and dined.
Would I return?? ABSOLUTELY!
Hotel staff canโt do enough for you and so polite and friendly too.

We then moved across to another hotel for the next 4 nights which is another fabulous property! Itโs a LUXE collection hotel thatโs just opened its doors so canโt wait to tell you all about that one too soon ๐ฉท
