Being part of a well-managed, professional horse racing syndicate brings many of the rewards of sole ownership without the risk, responsibility and financial outlay of going it alone. Clive Hadingham and Steve Grubb have both built successful professional careers and share a passion for horseracing, developed through many years of ownership in one form or another. They decided to set up Surrey Rac

ing in response to the lack of professionalism and impersonal communication, so common in many other syndicates. We have access to the leading trainers in the UK and will be placing our horses accordingly. As an owner you will be able to visit your horse at the trainers yard and watch work mornings on the gallops. We focus on the social side of horse racing ownership - all of the fun of the races with like minded friends.

Surrey Lord has moved back to Dorking with and is looking in great shape enjoying the recent sunshine.
Lord is one of our bigger horses and seems to grow every time we see him ! He’ll enjoy some down time before the hard work starts !

Surrey Quest is doing very well after his fantastic run in The Scottish Grand National! It was mixed emotions on Saturday following a thrilling battle to the line, Quest beaten by a nasal hair !
We are all very proud of Quest and grateful to & for all their hard work. Surrey Quest will have a summer holiday and (maybe) we can all look forward to next season.

Surrey Mist is loving life in Norfolk as he gets over his
injury. It was a year ago that he made his seasonal appearance in the Group 3 Prix Exbury at St Cloud in Paris. He’ll be back in training next month, exciting times ahead!

With the flat season fast approaching we look forward to visiting trainer and the team this weekend. A great chance to get together with the owners and see Surrey Fire, Surrey Charm and Surrey Belle on the gallops. We have high hopes for these three horses and can’t wait to hear what Hughie has planned for each horse this year.

We went to a very cold Newmarket last Friday to meet with trainers and see Surrey Mist, Surrey Noir and Surrey Force. First to run could be Surrey Noir who had two gallops up Warren Hill for the first time on Friday and took it all very much in his stride. He’s doing great and @charliefellowesracing couldn’t be happier. She’s moved to Hughie Morrison’s Summerdown Stables to start her training. It’s auspicious timing too because Hughie recently celebrated his 1,000th career victory. We got to see Surrey Knight in action on the Al Bahathri gallop at Newmarket, which was described to us as ‘where the magic happens!' It was an easy ride and Charlie Fellowes is very happy with Surrey Knight’s progress; he’s doing everything that Charlie is asking of him. He’s going to be a real stayer, and if all goes to plan over the next 2 weeks (always a big if in horse racing), he’ll make his debut at Doncaster on 26th March.
