We are offering 3-30 January 2022 and 1 - 28 February at a reduced price of £1200 per month.

Would suit anyone who can work ‘from home’ anywhere in the country, lucky retired people or just those wanting a month to explore the beautiful Lake District.

We are located near Bassenthwaite Lake and Derwent Water. The Western coastline is also just down the road.

We are very pleased to introduce our HOLIDAY LET - 27 Forest Views, located on a small, peaceful family run park, at Moota, near Cockermouth, in the centre of the Lake District National Park.

27 Forest Views offers spectacular rural views across the open countryside towards Skiddaw. It is an ideal location for visiting the Northern and Western Lake District, it is close to the Scottish borders and convenient for the Western coastline.

Our lovely holiday let is set in a private, spacious bay surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, secure decking with ample car parking. There is a garden centre with a coffee shop right next door as well as plenty of walks, cycling and fishing nearby.

27 Forest Views can accommodate up to six guests, in two bedrooms (one kingsize and one twin bedroom) plus a pull out double sofa bed in the lounge area. We are well equipped with all you’ll need for a cosy escape and one well behaved dog is very welcome. We may consider more than one depending of their size so please just ask.

Our local pub is just a short walk away and there are walks in abundance – the whole of the North/Western Lake District, Scottish Borders and coastline is here for you to discover.

There really is something for everyone, whatever your age or interests, with walking, cycling, fishing and water sports close by.

Here at 27 Forest Views we offer all year round prices, not heightened prices during the school holidays – just simple and fair whatever month you decide to visit:
