Couldn’t agree more - we love Cockermouth!
One of the things we love about our location here in Brigham Holiday Park is the fact that we’re not in the midst of the more ‘touristy’ places, so even on a glorious bank holiday, you can escape the crowds!
This is Sale Fell today, about 10 mins drive away.
We had no problems parking, and beautiful views across to Scotland 😍
Whinlatter is great if you fancy a good walk without the navigation challenges 😉.

Afternoon tea in the Lake District, how lovely does that sound! Here at Brigham Holiday Park we have some delicious places to enjoy it so close to us from The Trout Hotel at Cockermouth to The Lakes Distillery at Bassenthwaite or the Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa at Keswick.
Aerial dancers at Honister - this looks terrifying to me (I’m no good with heights) but how amazing!
(PS - did you know, our lovely sign at the front of the lodge is made of Honister slate?) 😍
This looks a great idea, and would save the cost of parking in Buttermere too! 😊👍🏻 Then the money you save could be spent on ice cream from the farm 😉
