Had some time to rebuild a very rotten scaffold board table, very satisfying to finally get it done

The willow hedge was getting slightly out of hand so have started to give it a trim, still the other side to go. Willow when you do it yourself is cheap but definitely grows fast! The second picture is the willow tunnel!!

Gardening in the rain! This is the very wild garden area, that I never quite have time for. Managed to tie in the willow tunnel, pull up the nettles, bind w**d, plant some more wild flower seed and got very wet!

Last weekend of the Easter hols is available so book now! t’s all about the kids at duck duck goose. Come and stay with the little ones they’ll love it, loads of wooden toys, books, dress up outfits, outside kitchen, willow tunnel, and even a projector for a film night. And for the adults there’s the coffee machine, comfy chairs, a firepit and gradually a garden! So come and chill while the children are happy.

Lots of yellow touches! Hadn’t realised quite how many things I make, paint and buy that are yellow! Guests arriving this afternoon for a half term break, a family with 4 children, the perfect place for them to chill

Stocking up on toilet paper from I try to be as sustainable as possible at the barn. So I buy toilet roll. All soap, washing up liquid etc are refilled from , i ask my guests to sort waste so I can recycle and compost as much as possible. I also give a percentage of my earnings from the barn to who I think are amazing, if you haven’t come across them take a look at their account.

The kids room at the barn is perfect for little ones, set up especially for parents who want to chill while they’re children are happy to play. We’re now on the website which is great if you’re looking for a holiday space for families.

A very rainy day in Suffolk but we got to see the polar bear now resident which my daughter was delighted about! is just 20 minutes up the road from the barn. Great for days out with or without kids

Slightly wild gravel garden! Weeds have been growing very quickly this summer! This is the front outside seating area with fire pit, there’s also a more wild kids play area with willow tunnel, apple trees, mud kitchen and also a back courtyard garden!

Picked these figs today, seems to be loads this year although a lot already eaten by the wasps. As a guest you’re welcome to help yourself there’s also apple trees and a plum, rosemary, sage and loads of mint!
