CDS Hire are looking for Private Hire & Hackney Drivers to carry weekend shifts for pubs/clubs/restaurants in and around the Forest of Dean plus drivers for daily school contracts working under the Gloucestershire County Council and Monmouth County Council guidelines, commencing September 2021.

For ‘own car’ drivers, the following must be in place before school contracts starts:

Enhanced DBS online
PATS Training
Own Vehicle
Private Hire or Hackney Licence and Plate
MOT
Insurance
Tax

We are happy to put in place/help with any of the above in order to get everything needed to carry out the work required, even supplying a vehicle if required.

Contracts will become available to tender from June to late August 2021 with the start date usually being beginning of September 2021. Gloucester contracts are usually one year and Monmouth can be up to three years long.

Once you confirm what type of contract is suited to your vehicle and what time you have available each day to carry out the job, we can start looking for work. Please confirm asap with your details/car as it will be first come first served when offering out the contracts.

Contract earnings depend on location and route mileage and a daily price will be confirmed once we are successful with winning the contract. It can range from £20-£75 per day.

Hours can vary depending on contract time/mileage but can be from 2 to 5 hours per day, Monday to Friday.

Contract length: 12-36 months

Part-time hours: 10-30 per week

Expected start date: 01/09/2021
