From memories coming up on Facebook it would seem it is a year since we re-opened the pottery after house move & looooong renovation project.

A BIG thank you from me to ALL who have booked classes, bought pottery or vouchers, spent time on our 3 day retreats or just visited to see what we are all about.

What is on my mind Facebook asks?

Well.....our Pottery & Food Experiences...that's what!

We came up with the idea of offering a pottery & food experience combining pottery making, pottery painting with food all based on a theme of afternoon tea, pasta or pizza.

Lots of people we spoke to thought it sounded a great idea BUT bookings have been low.

Sooooo!

We have now re-jigged how it will work & made the session slightly shorter (but you still get to keep the same amount of pots and have great food with us!) but we can now offer it £10 cheaper!

So 10am-2pm in our studio making and painting pottery all around a theme and enjoying great food is now £85.00pp and that starts with our lovely Mother's Day Afternoon Tea session (or just come anyway!) on Sat 29th March.

Tickets are selling fast for our Mother’s Day Prosecco & Pottery Painting evening at The Hope and Anchor - Ross On Wye.

We love hosting pottery painting events there & will be bringing some of our favourite pieces on Thursday 27th March for you to paint with or for your Mum!

All pieces will be glazed & fired & ready for collection from the pub in time for Mother’s Day!

PHEW! And that’s a wrap!!

Large glazing & firing week last week of all the pottery made in recent classes at Hot Pot Pottery - pottery classes, workshops & experiences.

Namely:
91 thrown pots
29 pinch pots
45 tiles

All packed into kiln, biscuit fired, taken out of kiln, glazed, put back in kiln, re-fired, unloaded from kiln, batched up into groups by those who made them , packed for collection/delivery & all ‘owners’ alerted & courier company booked…... & relax!

We hope you enjoyed your classes & love your pots.

Ah! We must have been busier than we thought end of Jan & Feb…..lots & lots of pottery to glaze & fire. It’s a big one!

Biscuit firing is underway & we will start glazing on Thurs.

IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO BOOK! WE STILL HAVE SOME SPACES!

Aw how pretty.... our studio is looking all romantic for our Valentine's Pottery Painting Thursday & Friday 10am-midday or 1-3pm.

Refreshments are included and a delicious sweet treat option can also be booked in advance (Raspberry & White Chocolate Muffins - topped with cream and fresh raspberry, Strawberry Shortcake Cream Tea & Heart Shaped Jam Filled Biscuits. All home-baked.).

OR you might opt for our Couples Wheel Throwing and Heart Hanger evening class 7-9pm Thurs 13th with refreshments & nibbles included (BYO booze if you wish).

Pottery painting is £9.50 pp exc. sweet treats or £15.00 per head inc. sweet treats plus the prices of the pieces chosen on the day.

The couples throwing and heart hanger evening is £80 per couple inc. nibbles and refreshments and leaving up to 6 pieces for us to glaze and fire.
