Beside an old apple tree in a quiet corner of our traditional working cattle farm you will find this secluded shepherds hut just for two. n field you will find the hut situated in its own calm space surrounded by fescue grass mixed with wild flowers and an open view across the countryside. Inside the hut is a simplistic design of warmth and function, with a double bed, luxury linens, sheep wool duvet, box pillows, simple furniture offering dining space, quality sleep and room for storage and grooming. Outside the cabin is a firepit you can also cook on and a cooking hut including microwave, kettle, fridge and toaster. Visitors have shared use of the campsite toilet, shower and water supply which is located approx. 40 metres from the hut. The hut is perfect for year round stays with an electric stove heater to keep you cosy on chilly evenings. Locally there are lovely country walks, many eating places within easy driving distance and so much to do in the city of York you will be spoilt for choice...or just lounge around the hut and enjoy the atmosphere of this rural farm. Please note we operate for 2 adults only, there are 3 steps up to access the hut and we are currently landscaping the area outside the hut so more photos to follow soon!.
