National Highway has issued a warning to all customers traveling from Manchester Airport during June, July and August. They advise allowing extra travel time due to the closure of parts of the M56 between junctions 5 and 6 for resurfacing slip roads, replacing road markings, and bridge joints.

Uzbekistan โ€“ Ancient Cities of the Silk Road starts in the capital, Tashkent, exploring the cityโ€™s Islamic heritage and Chorsu Bazaar, before heading to the new town. Guests then travel to Khiva, home to the UNESCO-listed town of Itchan Kala, where sights include an ancient citadel and the Duma Mosque. The Uzbekistan tour continues through the red desert of Kyzyl-Kum and on to Bukhara which includes a masterclass in making โ€˜plovโ€™, a traditional Uzbek rice dish. Further along the trade route, the tour explores the domed marketplace of Compel Bazaar, the iconic Silk Road city of Samarkand, and Ak-Saray Palace. This is the birthplace of the legendary leader of the Timurid empire, Amir Timur.

#ClientThrowbackThursday A lovely review from one of our clients that has recently returned from Venice!โœˆ๏ธ Venice has been on our bucket list for a long time, and it didnโ€™t disappoint. The Bauer Palazzo hotel was recommended to us by the team at Three Way Travel and it was amazing! The location was perfect - right next to St Marks Square on the Grand Canal with the most amazing outside terrace where you can sit and watch the world go by and a roof terrace for the evenings playing great tunes with a view to die for. The hotel concierge couldnโ€™t do enough for us - organising trips to Murano and Burano for us at very little notice which are a must do for anyone visiting Venice, and of course the sunset Gondola trip which was just perfect. Thanks Three Way for organising a really special weekend - it truly was one to remember!
