For the coming season we need a new driver for our Wooler based vans.
The day starts and ends at Wooler so own transport to Wooler to take over the van each day is required.
Fixed term contract, roughly April until mid October.
Variable hours depending on how many bags we have to move.

2 week rota
2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off. So every alternate weekend a long, (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), weekend off.

£10.25 per hour.

Holiday pay accrued and paid in a lump sum at the end of the contract.

Preferably with no accidents/claims or motoring convictions within the last 3 years.

Reasonable physical fitness required as some of the bags can be heavy.

This position is ideally suited to the retired or semi-retired as we need the successful applicant to be able to commit to us for the whole season and not just use us to fill in whilst something else comes along. There is also the strong possibility of re-employment in subsequent years, subject to mutual agreement.

For the coming season we need 2 new drivers for our Wooler based vans. The day starts and ends at Wooler so own transport to Wooler to take over the van each day is required. Fixed term contract, roughly April until mid October, although the actual start date is obviously dependent on the Government Covid restriction level.
Variable hours depending on how many bags we have to move and we can move a lot; especially this year, as once we get started we are going to be really busy.

2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off. So every alternate weekend a long, (3 day), weekend off. Either Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Saturday, Sunday, Monday.

£9.25 per hour.

These are great jobs and they don't come up all that often, so the new drivers will be joining our 2 current ones who have a total of 15 years working for Carrylite between them.
