We've made it through January! Yay! ππͺ
In case anyone is trying to rush through the start of this year to get to Spring (surely not π€£) with longer days and warmer times, we thought we'd share some summer birdsong which we captured by the Mill.
The birds do seem to be getting noisier in the mornings, or is that just wishful thinking?

WOW..... What a hidden Gem.
We had a lovely week's stay in "The Mill" part of this gorgeous property. Wish it could have been longer.
Like home from home π
We were greeted by owners Nikki & Barry who were so friendly and had already kitted out the kitchen with local eggs, butter, milk, bread and homemade jam.
The rooms were spotless and beds super comfy.
Even the log burner fire was made up ready in case we fancied a romantic fire and a glass of wine but never got the chance π
The kids had many fun hours playing in the property's stretch of river building stone dams and getting wet π
Memories that will stay with them forever..
Can't recommend this place enough and definitely won't be our last time there.
