The accommodation was perfect for the wide range of ages and relationships in our group - sleeping, relaxing and eating. As a base for exploring the Island it was excellent and there were good seafront walks and good eating places close by. Perfect for a family holiday.

Secluded, Quiet, Inspiring

Cell group retreat at Windrush: Windrush is ideally situate for our purposes, secluded and quiet for group sessions, space for individual privacy, inspiring sea and sky views, yet easy access to Cowes itself and to the Island. We were able to explore the geography and history of the Island and enjoy its natural assets, even though most of us have mobility limitations. the generous car parking space and access to main roads were important for us. Our group of 9 had space to spare, choice of individual bedrooms and plenty of bathroom facilities (important for senior citizens!) We missed some creature comforts taken for granted at home (e.g. foot rests, grab-rails in bathrooms and on stairs etc), but could imagine bringing grandchildren for brilliant adventures at Windrush.
