WE ARE OPEN during the full weekend closures of Horsebridge Hill 27th-30th June & 4th-7th July. We have received word that Southern Vectis will run to St Mary’s before turning back for the diversion route. No public transport will be available to reach The Stag in either direction. We have a large FREE car park as you can gain access from the diversion route via Nokes Common or Newport/Cowes Road. 🙏

*UPDATE. We hear Southern Vectis will be running an hourly service from Cowes past The Stag, Noke Common, Pallance Road. We’re not sure of times or when cut off is yet.

*UPDATE UPDATE The shuttle service (as above) will be half hourly from 0800-1800

⚠Horsebridge Hill Weekend Road Closure ⚠
For the weekend of 28 / 29 June and 5 / 6 July there will be a full road closure on Horsebridge Hill. During the closure Route 1 will serve St Mary's Hospital in both directions from / to Forest Road using the normal diversion to Cowes / Newport.

In addition we will be operating a shuttle service that will will loop from Cowes to Chapel Corner using Noke Common to face in the right direction without drivers having to reverse. Space will be limited on the shuttle.
