What the guests saw... Yesterday's Portsmouth Harbour tours provided amazing intimate views of the stunning cruise ship Borealis.
With spring just around the corner, more cruise ships are expected, and lighter conditions are prevailing. It's a great time to get out and join us on one of our tours.

We have recently had our Environmental Health visit and all 3 vessels offering food - Ali Cat, Solent Cat and Wight Scene have passed with a 5 rating!
More reassurance for when you are travelling with us.

Jenny M seen here closely followed by HMS Tyne. The latter was outbound last week in pursuit of a Russian spy ship loitering close to the UK coastline mapping underwater pipelines (you may have seen it in the news...)
Solent Cruises would like to make clear that the Jenny M is not in anyway to be confused with the Russian ship although we do aim to give our customers good close up photo opportunities!!!

Contrary to local media (BBC South Today) posting a video of the Ocean Scene this evening, I would like to confirm that Blue Funnel Cruises are NOT in financial difficulty, and that we or any of our associated companies or directors are nothing to do with the Hythe Ferry. Apologies to those who have contacted us with concerns over future bookings.

Passengers on a Portsmouth Harbour tour yesterday were treated to a close-up of the aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales off the Jetty, during a move called 'wind ship' (turning the ship around). The procedure is carried out to allow maintenance to the port (left) side of the ship.
Portsmouth Harbour tours are available daily from Gunwharf Quay on the hour.

Guests on the Portsmouth Harbour tour today were treated to the departure of the stunning new cruise ship Viking Vela. Vela is one of the many cruise ships that will be visiting the port throughout the year. As always Solent Cruises will be on hand to provide you the close encounters for amazing photographic opportunities.
