Video of our Jekko SPX532 lifting steelwork over the Wightlink linkspan in the fastcat terminal at Ryde Pier. With a weight restriction on the pier and a narrow access road our spider crane solved both those issues. The ferry used the lay-by berth for the morning while the works were undertaken. Temporary rigging was put in place to support the linkspan. Concrete repair job we undertook last week on the Wightlink Fishbourne terminal. Utilising our modular pontoons and one of our small workboats for access underneath the jetty structure.

Our Jekko SPX532 was the perfect tool to complete this task at the end of Ryde Pier this week. Wightlink needed steelwork changing over their linkspan in the fastcat terminal. With a weight restriction on the pier and a narrow access road our spider crane solved both those issues.

Well done to our team working at Ryde Pier responding in one of our workboats and assisting with the rescue.

This week we had a pontoon and workboat conducting repairs on Wootton Beacon just round the corner from our yard.
Our team reattached the access ladder on the north cardinal pile.

Another pontoon installed in Dover at the end of last week, providing access to the underside of a footbridge inside an old dry dock. A set of pontoon steps were also assembled to provide access up the wall at varying tide heights.

Another busy few weeks on the Ryde Pier project with works progressing well on the superstructure and substructure.

Our team have been busy with our workboats moving pontoons of various sizes and shapes under the pier giving access for netting, scaffolding, inspections and prep/painting.

Last minute request for a work pontoon for a client in Southampton on Tuesday. Couple hours after the phone call we had a pontoon assembled with handrails and fenders to work on the side of a yacht in for repairs.

Earlier this week some of our team were in London installing a large pontoon to take a lifting gantry. The pontoon was assembled around the tower with a walkway ashore. Supplied with an access/diving ladder and 10 of our timber bog mats.

Our tracked carrier out last week in Aldershot moving steelwork up a steep embankment to the bridge. The sections were delivered by hiab lorry and lifted onto the bed of our tracked carrier and secured to the bed. Once at the top of the embankment the steelwork was unloaded in position to be installed under the bridge for strengthening works.

We have 2 of these great tracked carriers for hire! Capable of carrying 1.2 tonne over rough and difficult terrain, with non-marking rubber tracks.
