Isle of Wight Tomatoes - the best!!
This is Greg! π He's in charge of the important job of composting here at Isle of Wight Tomatoes. We produce around 1100 tons of compost each year using a controlled process that converts organic materials such as leaves, unused fruit and even the natural coconut coir that our conventional crops are planted in, into a nutrient-rich fertiliser through natural decomposition.π±
The process takes time, and when our special blend is ready, itβs used in our organic crops to give the plants the nutrients they need. π
Our organic soil is so rich in biodiversity that weβve not had to rotate it in over 20 years and we are proudly Soil Association approved - Nice work Greg! π
