Join Jas on his journey through China!

As our Travel Consulting and Partnership Manager, Jas spent 10 days learning the ins and outs of traveling through the country. His adventure began in Beijing – check out some of his images and read on for one of his expert tips below.

"Beijing is a huge metropolis and currently has a population of 22 million. Whilst in Beijing, we visited one of the modern 'Seven Wonders of the World', the Great Wall of China! I also visited the Imperial Forbidden City. A trip around Tiananmen was a true eye-opener, I loved delving into the history of the city. One of my highlights in Beijing was tucking into an authentic Peking Duck dinner."

His expert tip for those traveling in China? Go to the major sites earlier in the morning so you miss the rush that comes later in the day.

"Day hike at Namsan Mountain was one of my favorite experiences which houses over 100 temples, 80 stone Buddha statues, and 60 stone pagodas. The 3-hour hiking route is a well-maintained trail and offers some beautiful views from the top. Seeing the hidden Buddha statues was very fulfilling."
