Early autumn might actually be the best time to visit Devon. As cosy season approaches the woods turn to autumn colours, the beaches are quieter and even lovelier without the summer crowds, and walks on nearby Dartmoor feel like they’re all yours. We are so fortunate to be surrounded with such beautiful countryside.

The rolling Devon hills in the gorgeous slice of Britain, offer an abundance of wildlife and farm life, with the tranquil charm of unspoilt landscapes framed by ancient hedgerows, winding lanes and in the summer, vibrant colours of blossoming trees 🌳

I was going to write a caption about how lovely it is to eat outside, but all I can think about is last night’s football result and the fact that the weather in Devon is looking good for the next week or so! 🙌🌞

Anyway, the fresh Devon air, sunshine on your face, and birdsong while dining alfresco in this secluded treehouse are pretty amazing too. Now... what to cook (and where to watch Sunday’s game)? 🍃🌞🍽
