➡️ Scroll through to see February's past for the communal area at Wytch Wood. February has always been a busy month, it's a time to get the big work done before the start of the season. Going into our 5th season, we thought it would be fun to look back at the changes to the site when made each year.. How many of these bandages can you remember?
2021 - getting ready for year 1. Clearing over grown holly and undergrowth, taking out old fencing, putting in drainage and getting the first pitches ready
2022 - the harrowing ordeal of clearing diseased Ash trees from the woodland after diagnosis of Ash die back. It nearly killed the Wytch Wood dream.
2023 - improvements to facilities - building a shelter for the sinks and a stand for the pizza oven
2024 - improvements to the access to the site. After a particularly wet summer and winter, we carried out a lot of work, to combat the mud and make getting on and off due easier
2025 - peace at last! We're tinkering with the layout and adding to the garden, but no big changes planned this year! Well, maybe a boules court....
