Today we had the Christmas Fur & Feather Match @ Bron Eifion Fishing Lakes & Lodges 🌲🎅🏼Congratulations Marc Viercant on winning your first ever open match with 35lb 03oz 👏🏼🍾 In 2nd place was Alan Jones with 33lb 07oz, Da Iawn Alan 👍🏼 Paul Cuffling took third place overall and also section 2 win with 27lb 2oz 👏🏼4th overall for myself and 1st in section 1 with 20lb 6oz. 5th overall and Section 3 winner was Brian Jones with 18lb 10oz, Well done Brian! Kevin Dixon had the best bag of silver fish with 8lb 11oz and Robert Stoker won the £100 prize and trophy for the biggest fish (10.0lb) which was caught in the last few minutes of the match 🎣 Well done to all 20 anglers who took part today in the wind and rain and thank you to all who contributed towards prizes, Kevin & Carole very kindly donated some fantastic prizes including 1 days fishing tuition with Matty Dawes and 2 nights stay for 4 anglers at Tunnel Barn Farm, Pace Fire Blaenau Ffestiniog chucked in £150 in prize money and a trophy for the biggest fish. Poor weights today very disappointing. It was very cold and we did have the lake frozen on Thursday morning but I ask myself is it the weather, the fish or the fishermen? I just don’t know 😀 Anyway thank you all, let’s hope I have a smile on my face next Saturday for the Fur and Feather

In the middle of storm Bert, Llanddulas match anglers braved it out. No need to mention the conditions they had to endure. These are day 2 results from the 3 day festival. Windy,cold and showery but wow look at the weights, very pleased! We even had pleasure anglers catching in the shallows. Well done Lee Campion with a cracking 91lbs and to everyone, you have made us very proud.

We are only posting the daily weights and pictures not the 3 section winners that will be done on day 3 by Shaun Sandham.
It was a very cold start to the day the first frost of Autumn but after a while sunny and dry. Very pleased with the weights considering the sudden drop in temperature and how well the newly stocked carp have settled in especially the ghost mirrors. Well done Lobster Lee with a great weight of 81 lb and also to his son Elis Mon, 10 yrs old, who did brilliantly with just 2 oz behind Shaun Sandham, that’s one hell of an achievement. Looking forward to tomorrow, Day 2 of the Festival.
