Time stands still at this wonderful location. For those who wish to use the car for access there is very limited parking and a steep narrow lane to access this but it’s very much worth the trip

Following on from today’s announcement, this post is just to confirm what is happening.

The park will be closed to customers from 5th June until 17th of July. Monday the 3rd of June will be the last day we are open before the temporary closure. This closure is to allow Highways to carry out work involving use of parts of the park, and will also allow our grounds team to move tracks etc as necessary.

While we are closed, our office will still be manned to answer email enquiries, as will our social media accounts.

If you have a session at FlyUp booked during this period, we will be in touch soon.

The uplift at FOD will be running from Wednesday to Monday each week during this period.

Our shop, FlyUp Bikes will be available to shop online only for delivery over this period.

We thank you for your patience and understanding and look forward to seeing you all back again when we reopen in time for the summer holidays.

Lovely way to spend the early evening

Our garden takes on a different feeling in the evening, one we want to share with you.

Next week we will be opening until sundown for a few evenings.

The evening scents & sounds welcome you to simply sit and enjoy the serenity while all around you the evening pollinators do their work.

Listen to the blackbirds singing, the crows roosting and the woodpecker pecking.
Keep an ear out for the bees coming home to rest & the squeaks of our bats.

We are offering a selection of puddings to taste alongside a glass of something fizzy.
Enjoy a special evening in our special place.

No booking is required but spaces will be limited.

The Llangenny Water Fountain is officially open 🎉🎉

The Grade II listed Fountain was built to commemorate the golden jubilee of Queen Victoria in 1887 👑

Through funding from the Bannau Brycheiniog’s Built Heritage Grant Programme, the fountain has been restored as a free source of drinking water for local people, walkers and dogs, encouraging the use of refillable containers and discouraging single use plastics.

Diolch to all involved and to Council Clerk Maria James, Councillor John Morris, Councillor Elaine Lusted and Councillor David Sharman from the Vale of Grwyney Community Council for hosting the opening.
